EN: It took a bit longer than planned, but our wedding video is online!
I’m pasting the first part of the video description here, but (sorry Dutchies) I’m not translating this time. It simply feels wrong using another language for something like this. If you do need translation for certain parts, Google Translate actually works pretty well when it comes to English – Dutch.
Our vows, and some extra things, are also in the video description. I’m not pasting the entire thing here though. You can check it out on YouTube if you want to.

Ik plak het eerste deel van de video-omschrijving hier, maar (sorry Nederlanders) ik vertaal deze keer niet. Het voelt simpelweg verkeerd om een andere taal te gebruiken voor zoiets als dit. Als je voor bepaalde delen vertaling nodig hebt, werkt Google Translate eigenlijk best goed als het gaat om Engels – Nederlands.
Onze geloften, en wat extra dingen, staan ook in de video-omschrijving. Maar ik plak niet het volledige ding hier hoor. Je kunt het op YouTube bekijken als je wilt.

VIDEO DESCRIPTION
November 21st 2024 – 34 months in a long distance relationship (4600+ miles with an ocean between us). So many massive obstacles. So much heartache. But we made it. We finally don’t have to say goodbye anymore.
This may be a bit of an unusual wedding; no fancy venue, no suits or dresses, no room full of guests… But for us this really was the best day of our lives. And I’m pretty sure it shows. ;p
Special thanks to Noquisi and Jaz for flying and driving over from out of state to be our witnesses, making sure we have this footage and a bunch of pictures, and taking us out for a wonderful meal afterwards. We are eternally grateful. ❤️
